I am on sick leave

I had one of my pain-until-can-die attacks middle of last night. You see, I have a really sensitive tummy. Combine that with a really low pain threshold, I have, on numerous occasions passed out from stomach aches. People who have not passed out have an amusing fascination of those who do, wondering what we see in that split second before all black encompasses us. Well, I do see bright spots blinking in my field of vision but I am unable to focus on any of the blinking spots because if I do, it moves away. Just like one of those optical illusion emails we have seen. And then I wont be able to control my limbs and as my vision starts to slant (body physically collapsing), I am aware yet unable to do anything about it. And then, total darkness for a split second.

That's it really.

While getting out of bed this morning, I felt woozy in the head and a tight clench in the pit of my stomach. So I thought - hey, this is no condition for me to drive all the way to work, sit through 10 hours of it, make pleasant conversations with the new cluster manager who's clocking in today and my boss who will be in the office today, go through a 2 hour team lunch just because (I know they will arrange) and see UBLC's face. So I called in sick. And then blog. :D

We just came back from a long weekend and was caught in terrible traffic due to the roadworks on the NSE. I think the Cheng Beng crowd added to it. 6 hours!!!! Cars were crawling by and even the little baby roach on my window can't be force-flown away because we were crawling by. We attempted to use the trunk roads halfway through our journey, we covered a fair distance until the trunk road became just as congested. So we hopped back on the highway because my bladder was about to explode and I needed a decent restroom. :p

Oh, and I got this done for RM 12. I'm not all that gungho on these artsy fartsy stuff but for RM 12, what the heck.

I'm off to the doc now.
